How Ride & Fire collects, secures, and handles rider identification, statutory permit documents, and dispatch records.

1. Information We Collect

To organize high-altitude Himalayan expeditions and secure statutory permits, Ride & Fire collects:

  • Government Identification: Valid passport and visa copies (international riders) or Aadhaar/Voter ID (domestic riders) required by the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) for Inner Line Permit (ILP) issuance.
  • Driving Credentials: Valid international driving permit (IDP) or national motorcycle driving license to verify rider eligibility with the LMBRA union.
  • Medical & Emergency Contacts: Blood group, emergency kin contact details, and vital medical history relevant to high-altitude exposure (AMS, asthma, hypertension).
  • Dispatch Communications: Direct WhatsApp correspondence and phone records with Kunga for itinerary planning and coordination.

2. Purpose of Processing

Your documentation is processed exclusively for:

  • Filing statutory LAHDCL Inner Line Permits, Red Cross environmental clearances, and wildlife entry tokens.
  • Confirming boutique hotel and luxury campsite reservations along remote corridors.
  • Enforcing expedition safety and emergency evacuation coordination with local military checkpoints and heli-rescue providers if required.

3. Document Confidentiality & Security

Ride & Fire strictly respects rider privacy. We never sell, lease, or monetize rider personal data. Digital copies of permits and ID scans are stored in encrypted environments and deleted 90 days after season close.

4. Direct WhatsApp Communications

By initiating dispatch on WhatsApp with Kunga (+91 88999 22098), you agree to receive essential operational communications, route briefings, and packing guidance. You may opt out of promotional announcements at any time.
